Just before going to Australia for World Youth Day I really felt that God was calling me to work on Pure in Hearts Mission Team. It was a bit of a surprise to me to be honest with you, because I'd already worked with Pure in Heart for 2 years in the office. God however kept calling me and I decided that I would answer His call and said I'd work on the Mission Team if the Core team and Directors of Pure in Heart said it was ok.



After an amazing three weeks in Australia I travelled to Medjugorje for the annual youth festival. We had a great week while there with pure in heart giving talks to many young people from around the world.  In Medjugorje I spoke with Fr. Aidan about me joining the Mission Team for the coming school  year.  He said it sounded like that God was calling me to do the work. So when I got home from Medjugorje I started training with Emmet and Francesca, my fellow Mission Team members.



We started talking in schools in early October and had an amazing year working for God. It was in no way an easy year and only by the grace of God that we could do the work. For the most part, many students loved the message we had for them. Pure Love is a very attractive type of love. Once you know that it is possible, you will strive to attain that type of love. Working on the road for 3 or 4 days a week is tough going at times and we had a busy time travelling all around Ireland and else where.  We got to travel to Boston in the USA and spoke to a group of young adults in Harvard University.  After which Pure in Heart America was set it. It was a very fruitful mission. As a result of this trip and the connections made Pure in Heart was also set up in Kenya and Haiti. Since then has been set up in United Kingdom, Liberia and most recently Paris, France.



At the end of the year I really  felt called to stay on another year on the mission team. I began working with another girl and guy, Aine and Conal.  Again this was another amazing year. We had many a laugh on the road and many a miracle, none great than the morning we drove around a town in Ireland lost in the morning before a school to then discover that we'd left our laptop on the roof of the car.  How it stayed up there for those 25 minutes God Only knows the answer to that one. During my two years on the mission team I really saw how God works wonders with people who say Yes to His call. Although each Mission Team member where so different God used each of our talents and gift to bring forth His good news to a generation starving for His Love. I am truly blest to have been a part of two wonderful Mission Teams. Please continue to pray for the current Mission Team as they continue doing the most amazing work possible. Taking up the challange of spreading the message of Chastity and Pure Love.
